Welcome to Little Blessings 3D/4D Ultrasound — I’m so glad you’re here. 

 

My name is Jayme, and I’ve been an ultrasound technologist for 16 years. In the summer of 2016, I opened my first 3D ultrasound studio in Cape Coral. Building that space, naming it, and watching it grow was a lifelong dream come true. I named it Little Beginnings, a symbol of the new chapter I was stepping into.

 

For years, I had the privilege of meeting thousands of local families and capturing their most precious pregnancy memories. It was the greatest joy and purpose I had ever known… until life took a different turn.

A Sudden Detour

​

In 2021, I began experiencing unexpected and unexplained health issues — extreme fatigue and rapid weight loss. After countless tests, the only explanation I was offered was stress, anxiety, and depression. The only true stressor in my life was operating two studio locations. I loved scanning more than anything, but managing everything behind the scenes was demanding.

 

With my family and health in mind, I made the difficult decision to close the Cape Coral location and, in 2022, to sell the Naples location to my talented friend and fellow technologist, Michelle. She continues to run that studio beautifully, and it means the world to see the dream live on.

The Long Road to Answers

​

Even after stepping back from work, my symptoms continued to progress. By 2023, I was living with widespread joint pain, sciatic pain, and severe fatigue. In early 2024, new neurological symptoms began — tremors, muscle weakness, and difficulty walking. It became undeniably clear that this was something far beyond stress.

 

The journey toward my diagnosis and treatment has been long, humbling, and eye-opening. The human body — and the immune system — is truly wild.

 

 

 

The Silver Lining — and a New Beginning

For a long time, I felt like I had lost everything — my career, my mobility, the adventures I loved with my kids, and the dream I built from the ground up. Accepting that reality was heartbreaking.

 

But along this difficult path, I’ve been given so many Little Blessings. Those moments of unexpected good fortune have led me right back to where I belong — in the ultrasound room, sharing joy with growing families. And because of the circumstances that brought me back, I’m able to offer services at prices I never could have dreamed of before. These blessings are now being passed on to our local families.

Today

 

While my medication journey is still in progress and there is room for continued healing, I am beyond grateful to say that I am finally able to work part-time again. 

 

Appointments may be limited at times, and I deeply appreciate your patience, compassion, and understanding of my disability and reduced working capacity.

 

But make no mistake — I am SO excited to be back. I missed this work with my whole heart. I missed babies. I missed families. I missed the joy.
